We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor for one of our clients near the East Grinstead area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed within budget.

Responsibilities

- Attending site visits and client meetings to understand client requirements and identifying potential cost saving opportunities
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Evaluate and negotiate variations in the contract
- Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies
- Conduct cost control and value management
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
- Monitor progress and prepare reports

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of cost control
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Professional accreditation is advantageous
