Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Commercial Account Manager for our Plumbing and Heating client based in Reigate, Surrey. The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for the end clients, managing and nurturing long term relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Key responsibilities include understanding client needs, serving as a liaison between the client and internal teams, developing account plans, managing projects and identifying opportunities for business growth within existing accounts.
This role would suit a time served Commercial Engineer looking to develop off the tools skills with a strong competency in I.T (using Laptop, outlook and existing CRM systems).
Duties
Build and maintain strong, long lasting relationships with major clients and serve as the primary point of contact.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products or solutions according to client needs and objectives. This can include managing project timelines, budgets and deliverables.
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling and cross selling services.
Assist with challenging client requests and escalations as needed.
Technical support to the Commercial division.
Always be fully available by telephone during your working hours unless governed by law.
Ensure all aspect of the companies Health & Safety policy is always adopted.
Ensure all paperwork including parts orders, timesheet, quotations and tablet data is kept up to date on a daily basis.
Actively provide information relating to company services and policies.
The highest work standards and compliance with health & safety regulations are at the centre of the service we provide, and you will be expected to be an advocate of these core principles.
Carry out all other reasonable requests within your skillset and capabilities to suit the business needs when required.
Monday to Friday, 8-5 including 1 hour paid lunch break.

Requirements
Proven experience in an account management or a similar commercial role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is essential.
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop a high performing team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive approach to problem solving and a strong commitment to achieving results.
Ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
Understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the broader market.
Proven industry experience across domestic and commercial plumbing and heating.
