Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled, Canon-trained Printer Engineer to join our Client's South East team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients on-site. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and have a passion for delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities
Conduct on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of Canon printer equipment (laser, inkjet & multifunctional devices) as required.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide training on equipment usage when necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working on-site.
Liaise with the engineering team to provide feedback on product performance and suggest improvements.
Stay updated with Canon printer technology, industry trends and advancements to enhance service delivery.
PDI & refurbish devices in our clients office as and when required.

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
All applicants must be a Canon Certified Engineer (must have completed official Canon training programs with a valid certification as a Canon printer engineer).
Proven experience in repairing and maintaining Canon printers (laser, inkjet & multifunctional).
In-depth knowledge of Canon printing technology, including troubleshooting, diagnostics & repair procedures.
Proven experience with different types of printers (small office to enterprise level machines).
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
A valid UK driving licence is essential for travel to client sites.
Flexibility to work in different locations across the South East and London.
