We are looking for an experienced Groundworker / Landscape Gardener with a strong background in patio installation to join our clients expanding team. If you take pride in producing high-quality work, have excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working outdoors, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be working on a variety of residential and commercial landscaping & construction projects, transforming outdoor spaces with expertly laid patios and hard landscaping.

Initially beginning on a site in Kingswood, Surrey & then moving onto other sites around the South (generally within a 30 mile radius of Horley).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare groundworks for hard landscaping projects.

• Install patios using porcelain, sandstone, limestone, block and concrete paving.

• Carry out excavation, sub-base preparation and screeding.

• Ensure paving is laid accurately with excellent levels and falls.

• Install kerbs, edging, pathways and steps.

• Build retaining walls and other hard landscaping features where required.

• Operate plant and machinery safely.

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

• Deliver projects to a high standard while working efficiently as part of a team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in patio laying and hard landscaping.

• Strong knowledge of ground preparation and drainage.

• Ability to read site plans and work from drawings.

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable, punctual and motivated.

Desirable Skills

• Experience operating mini excavators and dumpers.

• Brickwork or block paving experience.

• Artificial grass installation.

• Fencing experience.

• General landscaping knowledge.
