Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer for one of our clients based in Reigate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Heating Engineer will ensure that all heating systems operate efficiently and safely, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair various heating systems, including boilers and radiators.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure heating systems are functioning properly.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating equipment.

• Perform necessary repairs using hand tools and power tools.

• Assemble components of heating systems as required.

• Plumb new installations and modifications as needed.

• Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete projects.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

• 3-5 years minimum experience in plumbing

• Plumbing NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2

• A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of equipment to job sites.
