Our client is a well-established Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering high-quality domestic and commercial mechanical solutions across the South East.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Gas Project Manager / Estimator to join their expanding team based in Reigate, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with outstanding mechanical knowledge who can confidently price, manage and deliver projects ranging from small domestic gas works through to large-scale commercial installations.

The Role

You'll take ownership of projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Working closely with clients, engineers and suppliers, you'll be responsible for estimating, project planning and overseeing the delivery of a wide variety of gas and mechanical projects.

Travel to customer sites throughout the South East will be required for surveys, meetings and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotations and estimates for domestic and commercial gas projects.

• Price projects ranging from small domestic boiler works to large commercial mechanical installations.

• Manage projects from tender stage through to completion.

• Oversee boiler room strip-outs and refurbishment projects.

• Manage large commercial pipework installation projects.

• Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors throughout each project.

• Attend site surveys, client meetings and progress meetings.

• Manage project budgets, programmes and resources.

• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has:

• Extensive mechanical and gas industry knowledge.

• Experience pricing both domestic and commercial gas projects.

• Strong experience with boiler room refurbishments and plant room installations.

• Experience managing large pipework installation projects.

• Excellent estimating and commercial awareness.

• Strong project management skills.

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Gas industry qualifications (Gas Safe registration desirable).
